Safe Sanctuary

Following the words of Jesus who said, “Whoever welcomes a child welcomes me” (Matthew 18:5), we vow to foster, nurture and nourish a safe and loving sanctuary at the Hereford Faith & Life Church. Jesus heeded all, “If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones, it would be better for you if a great millstone were fastened around your neck and you were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).Hereford Faith & Life Church is committed to upholding biblical principles of protecting children and preventing abuse.Hereford Faith & Life Church is an inclusive and welcoming congregation. Building upon our historical commitment in discipleship through our loving service, protecting children and youth is a top priority at our church. The purpose of this Safe Sanctuary Policy is to address the safety of our children and youth, and those responsible for their care. The Safe Sanctuary Policy is under the auspices of the Church Council. Copies are available in the church, on the church website, and in the church office.
